OHSU, located in Portland, Oregon, is a nationally recognized academic health center. We seek a Center Manager for the Oregon Healthy WorkForce Center.
PhD or all but dissertation doctoral degree, academic and field applications experience (e.g., safety, health, wellness, or well-being interventions) in areas of applied psychology (e.g., Occupational Health Psychology) or related applied disciplines that focus on organizational and/or individual behavior change
Master’s degree with relevant experience equivalent to doctoral degree will be considered
Ability to contribute to the intellectual development and direction of a program in Total Worker Health (TWH); coordinate diverse activities of an innovative transdisciplinary research group focused on interventions aimed at organizational and individual behavior change in health, safety, wellness and well-being (TWH); interest in pursuing research, education and outreach within the context of the Center.
A full-time position is available for the Manager of the Oregon Healthy Workforce Center (OHWC), a NIOSH-funded Center of Excellence in Total Worker Health (TWH). The home to the OHWC is OHSU, but it includes multiple units at OHSU, Portland State University, the University of Oregon and the Kaiser Center for Health Research. The position is located at OHSU within the Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences (formerly CROET), whose mission is to promote health and prevent disease and disability among working Oregonians and their families.
